Comments on the Article about the Factors Contributing to Homelessness and the role of the Government to Resolve the Issue
Response
I agree with the points that have been provided in the paper. The causes of homelessness and what the government should do to solve the problem of homelessness are on point. The causes of homelessness indicated in the article are correct. They include low income. If people have a meager salary, they will go for the most basic need, which is food. Domestic violence is another factor. Divorce leads to the parent parting ways, and it can leave the woman with nowhere to go rather than the streets. Mental illness can make individuals live in the streets and so no problem with that. Addicted people will always choose drugs over anything else, including homes. When people are displaced from their homes through human trafficking and are left in a place, they do not know they are left homeless. The article’s suggestions to the solutions of the problem are excellent. Programs are supposed to be introduced. The programs will investigate the causes of homelessness and the difficulties faced by the homeless. They will then suggest solutions to both the roots and the issues. The government will then execute the solutions proposed by the program.
